It’s been two years since the Princess of Pop made a return to form and gave birth to 18 solid bangers and mid-tempos with her critically-acclaimed album Glory, but she’s wasting no time getting back into the studio to give us moar.
Ahead of her Piece Of Me Tour – which will see her make stops across the United States and Europe, including a hotly-anticipated performance at Brighton Pride – Britney sat down with People to talk about yoga, dancing and getting hangry.
But aside from all that highly important information, what really got our attention was the confirmation that our generous queen is currently hard at work on her 10th studio album.
“It’s a big secret,” she teased in the interview. And while that might not be much to go on, it was enough to send her fans into meltdown.

Of course, we’ve known for a while now that Britney’s been thinking about her next album – in fact, she was “already back recording” new music just months after Glory was released – but now she’s gone on record about it, it all feels within touching distance.
Could we be getting new music before her Piece Of Me Tour kicks off? We’re keeping our fingers crossed.
