“Can you handle this? This talent is out of control!”

Ada Vox stunned American Idol audiences this week with a sensational rendition of Defying Gravity with American actress and powerhouse vocalist, Lea Michele.

The show-stopping performance led to a standing ovation from judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie, with the latter declaring: “A star is born!”

Michele had nothing but praise for Vox after the performance: “Can you handle this? This talent is out of control.

“It’s just been so great, this voice is out of control, and getting to sing with someone of [this] vocal caliber was a real honor. It was so fun to get to sing together.”

Vox also blessed us with a second incredible performance of Nina Simone’s legendary anthem, Feeling Good.

24-year-old Adam Sanders was rejected during the show’s 12th cycle back in 2013, but returned for the reality show’s latest season as his sassy, glamorous alter-ego, and we are obsessed

Could Ada become the first ever drag queen to win American Idol? It’s not unbelievable. With RuPaul’s Drag Race helping bring the art form to the mainstream, and Courtney Act becoming the first drag winner of Celebrity Big Brother this year, anything is possible.

We’re keeping our fingers crossed!
