“I was thinking I could fly to your hotel tonight. ‘Cause I can’t get you off my mind…”

Shawn Mendes has dropped another new single just one day after unveiling his powerful comeback track, In My Blood. He isn’t letting us breathe and we are living for it!

Lost In Japan – the second single from Shawn’s highly-anticipated third studio album – displays a saucier, funkier side to the Canadian singer/songwriter.

“Do you got plans tonight? I’m a couple hundred miles from Japan, and I was thinking I could fly to your hotel tonight. ‘Cause I can’t get you off my mind,” he sings on the track. Ooh honey! We have to admit, we’re liking this new side to Shawn…

The song serves as the second taster from Shawn’s upcoming comeback album, which is expected to land later this year.

Listen to Lost In Japan below.

During an interview with Elvis Duran, Shawn called the critically-acclaimed film an “incredible, incredible movie”, and praised the work of lead actor Nick Robinson.

The host then asks Shawn if the rumours of him auditioning for the lead character are true, to which the Canadian singer/songwriter responds: “I would’ve loved to. Unfortunately, timing didn’t work out. It would’ve been amazing!”

We don’t doubt that one bit Shawn…

Throughout his career, Shawn Mendes has sold over 10 million albums to dates, as well as 100 million singles.

If that wasn’t impressive enough, he’s racked up over 11 billion song streams and 4 billion YouTube views.
