“I started DJing at parties in France when I was 12. I only had one turntable – it was about knowing records that would make friends go crazy and changing them quickly! By the time I was clubbing I’d buy all the best tracks and, when I reached London, I decided to take DJing seriously. I got gigs spinning RnB but my goal was to play house music, so I attended electronic music production courses. All the hard work was worth when I first played the main slot for Queer Nation at Fire – the sound system, the lighting and the crowd were just incredible.”
