September 08 - The Sex Issue

If the brain is our biggest sex organ, then this month’s GT is XXVWE. Welcome to our Sex issue – it’s meatier than you could swallow in one sitting (but hey, it’s always worth giving it a go, you troupers).
Enough of the innuendo, let’s get down to some serious action (I said enough!). A smorgasbord of pleasures awaits you: Mark Simpson has deconstructed our favourite porny Bruces (p62), we sent someone with HIV into saunas to see just how safe people were expecting to play (p72) and popular one-handed novelist, James Lear, has written an exclusive story (illustrated by what is probably my favourite commission of all time) (p69), Sex Industry super star and survivor Aiden Shaw talks about his life (p52) and transsexual porn star Buck Angel talks about his friend Lobo, in How We Met (p78). We have sexy, we have serious, and Ciara Leeming has produced a damning investigation into how kids get pulled into the sex industry (p88). This piece is both sad and shocking, showing how, yet again, it’s the most vulnerable people in our society who are treated the worst.
GT is constantly looking for new ways to interact with our readers, so from this issue, as well as the usual methods, you can text comments directly to me for publication on 83010 (for less than the price of a stamp) and also enter any of the competitions on the numbers specified on the pages. Full terms and conditions are in the masthead to the right.
We are also always looking for ways to improve the magazine, so we’d really like to hear your thoughts and opinions on anything you’ve read here.
Thanks for buying the issue, I’m off to get my needs seen to now, and I suggest you do the same. Thank God for plastic sheets, and love to all the ones I love (you know who you are).
