GT LETTER 425

Do you think our cover is too much? No, me neither. And don't tell me you've never looked at pornography. There's no use trying to pretend it doesn't exist. And I'd never dream of taking some bizarre moral high ground and pretend that I haven't watched it. Isn't it all a bit of a nonsense, this stopping people from being able to access 'adult entertainment' online?

Porn's been in my life from a young age and it certainly hasn't done me any harm. I think I'm a fairly normal, pretty boring person. IT hasn't made me want to swing from the chandeliers or anything, and I still want a fairly bog-standard relationship. The (very) few that I've had have all been normal and loving, and the odd flick of the wrist here and there hasn't made much difference. And lets face it - of all the people that are going to be able to find pornography online, it's going to be the teenagers. The rest of us are going to be going crazy trying to get our internet providers to unlock something or other because yes, we're adults and yes of course that's true because we pay the bill. Similarly the 'furore' over lads mags at the moment - I wouldn't say that GT is a 'lads mag', but we do favour the male form. Well, we wouldn't be gay otherwise. I don't see that it does any harm, no-one's forcing you to look. I grew up being quite fond of Page Three in The Sun too... Well, Samantha Fox if I'm honest and I turned out alright, didn't I?
