Editor's Letter

In case you hadn’t realised, we love Ryan Murphy. The creator of Glee, American Horror Story and The New Normal clearly knows good telly. And so do we – which is why this month we’re bringing you exclusives on some of the hottest shows around.

If you’ve not seen American Horror Story Asylum then do yourself a favour and catch up immediately. It’s incredible viewing and Jessica Lange is sensational. We chat to Evan Peters (who’s received a whole other kind of sensation from Jessica) about inhabiting one of the worlds that Ryan is currently bringing to our screens, all of them with a wonderful, new visibility for gay people. As the star of The New Normal, Andrew Rannells, points out – hopefully this is the point where people will accept this is normal. We also find out what’s happening with Kurt and Blaine in Glee since the break-up…
It’s a whole other (non-Ryan) world we visit, yet still bringing gay relationships to a global television audience, for our cover shoot with Game of Thrones’ Finn Jones. Again, if you’ve not seen the show (how can this BE?!) then catch up before the new series starts on Sky. Finn, we love you too.
Yet another world of gayness has become more prominent in recent years, so we’re bringing you our A-Z guide of gay super heroes (and the odd villain) – as well as an exclusive interview with the writer of Young Avengers. We also catch up with hot new music star Le1f, ponder the question of whether you’d take a pill to stop yourself being gay, get serious with the man they’re calling Africa’s Harvey Milk and meet some pretty serious wildlife (and parrots). Another crazy month at GT – and on that note we’ll see you in 30 days for a very special edition of GT indeed…
