GT LETTER 399

Darren Criss, we’d like to marry you.
But if we can’t have that we’ll settle for an exclusive interview with the Dalton Warbler and imagine in our heads that it was a date.
We brought you the inside scoop on Glee way back in November 2009 so we’re delighted to have been given incredible access to the cast just as the third series comes to Sky1 HD every Thursday.
So yes, we’re all-singing, all-dancing this issue. Well, more than usual.
The music exclusives literally start just a couple of pages away, given that we had so many to cram in.
We’ve got Steps’ first gay interview together in 10 years (the show, Steps Reunion, is actually amazing) and a plethora of top pop stars on the pages that follow.
But it’s not all pop (and opera). We couldn’t have a music issue without taking to the West End stage. An international exclusive, we had unprecedented behind the scenes access to one of the biggest musicals in the world, Wicked. We even managed to squeeze in a chat with the creator of the whole thing as he brings his series of Oz books to an end.
And yes, we stood centre stage and imagined we were singing Defying Gravity, you would too…
You might think we’ve earned a rest, but we’re already hard at work on a couple of special issues for the coming months – trust us, you’re not going to want to miss out! It all kicks off next month with our landmark 400th issue. See you then!
