GT has a case of 12 bottles of award-winning Kendermanns Pinot Grigio 2006 to give away to two lucky readers.
Features: Produced by family winery Reh Kendermann from grapes grown in the Pfalz, one of Germany's key wine-producing regions situated in the south-west, across the border from Alsace, Kendermanns shows that it's not only Italy that can make highly quaffable Pinot Grigio. This grape variety has a long tradition in Germany, producing a very fresh, fruity style.
A consistent international competition medal winner, dry style Kendermanns Pinot Grigio has a spicy character and expressive fruit. This modern, vibrant wine is full of flavour with a warm finish, and a perfect match for dishes with mushrooms (wild mushroom risotto is a natural twin) or smoked fish - excellent with smoked trout with horseradish sauce. Equally enjoyable without food, it offers an affordable premium quality wine for just over a fiver. A definite crowd-pleaser!
