Paloma Faith launches her new exhibition of iconic imagery

Paloma Faith, the eccentrically styled Stone Cold Sober singer and certified double Platinum album artist, is the next musician to combine the worlds of pop and art culture. Curating a new exhibition at The Gallery in Redchurch Street, London, just down the road from where Faith played one of her first ever shows, the BRIT Award nominated songstress is displaying and debuting a selection of album artwork and iconic, critically acclaimed imagery by famed photographers David Standish and Finlay Mackay.

Speaking about the event, Paloma told us: “I am thrilled to be able to exhibit these artworks. The photographers involved are all amazing and I am so proud to have worked with them. I am extremely hands-on with my visuals, and collaborate very closely with photographers to achieve the final image. In an age where we are all downloading music, it’s wonderful to be able to appreciate fully the work that goes into creating the beautiful imagery surrounding an album.”

These limited edition works are available for purchase on the evening, with proceeds from each sale going to Kids Company, a charity which works therapeutically with children and young people. For those unable to attend the exhibition, all artworks are available to view and purchase at the Album Artists website.

The exhibition runs at The Gallery in Redchurch Street, London from 28 November – 1 December and is open from 10am – 8pm.
