The Wig Party: Masked Halloween Ball
The Wig Party returns to London's Café de Paris... all for charity!

London's Café de Paris plays host to a masked ball this month, coming at you courtesy of the people behind the infamous Wig Party. The event has had many themes over the years and we’re amazed that they keep finding new ones – but they do. Halloween 2013 is all about Dia de los Muertos, the Mexican day that honours the dead. We’re looking forward to drunkards attempting to say ‘Dia de los Muertos’ after a cocktail or five.
On Sunday 27 October, ghoulish guys and gals will descend on Leicester Square for a night of devilish decadence in the iconic venue. The National Aids Trust will benefit from the sale of tickets, with party-goers able to make further donations on the night. Famous faces are likely to be in abundance, too. Past guests have included Leona Lewis and former Sugababe Keisha Buchanan.
Deborah Jack, CEO of The NAT is looking forward to the event and what it will do to the charity’s benefactors.
“We’re very excited to be working with the Wig Party again. The event really will be a celebration of life. At NAT we work hard to ensure people with HIV can live their lives to the fullest – that they aren’t held back by discriminatory laws or affected by ignorance and stigma, that they have the support they need to continue to work, stay healthy and know their rights. We are very grateful that this event will help us to continue to campaign on these issues – shaping attitudes, challenging injustice and changing lives”
You can start planning your outfit now and get inspiration at The Wig Party’s Facebook page. There’s also a competition where you could win a pair of tickets by guessing the celebrity hidden behind a mask .
Tickets are available now from Prowler Soho in London or from Wig Party website.
