One Love Wedding Show Modelling Competition

We've found our boys!

With the gays finally being allowed to marry as of next year, it was only a matter of time before we got our very own wedding fayre. It comes in the form of the One Love Wedding Show at London's swanky Hospital Club. As one of the primary sponsors, GT were set the 'horrible' task of sorting through pictures of male models... when we launched a competition to find pretty boys to strut their stuff at the event.

Interest came from far and wide, even the other side of the Atlantic. Dullanni Waterman is an avid reader of GT from America and had this to say:
"The idea of this show is very near and dear to me because I had a 12 year relationship with my CA registered domestic partner, Shawn, who sadly passed away at the age of 37. It was cool to hear people be in awe of how long we were together and actually were role models for newer couples. I have grown stronger and crossed paths with a new soul and have begun another journey and look forward to what lays ahead."

Finally we narrowed our selection down, so let's meet one of the guys. Gentlemen, we give you twenty-seven year old Mr. Aaron Twitchen (top right):

Hi Aaron. What made you enter our competition to model?
I L.O.V.E love and wanted to be a part of an event celebrating it. I am a big believer in friendship and family. Weddings are a great opportunity to share your love with those people. I relish the idea of being there when people make decisions about that day and it's inspiring witness them at the happiest points of their lives.

What are you thoughts on same-sex marriage and where the U.K is at with it?
I think it is really exciting and inspiring to grow up in the U.K in 2013. It wasn't long ago I was at school in a rural village; I couldn't imagine a time where gay relationships were acceptable, let alone respected enough to be ordained be law. It's an amazing time of change and growth. Seeing Lords and politicians cheering for this cause - even singing in Australia - makes me so proud of the work my peers have done to make this happen. I'm excited for what can happen in the next 20 years to improve situations for every member of our community.

Do you have any set idea about how your wedding day will be?
I have no concrete plans, because I should probably wait until I meet my partner and let him have an input - but I want something quite spectacular.

Finally, what type of style are you looking to model at the show?
Something smart, but fitted and sexy. My friends always mock me for living in vests, so it will be interesting to see how I look dressed up.

And the lovely twenty-two year old Michael Sylvester (top left):

What made you enter our competition to model?
I was browsing my Twitter and saw a retweet of the competition. I was in a good mood and thought, 'why not?'

What are you thoughts on same-sex marriage and where the UK is at with it?
Unfortunately I haven't been too involved in the whole debate around same-sex marriages. My thoughts are, love is love no matter who or what you are, and marriage is just a binding contract of two people's love for each other. Everyone can feel love so everyone should be allowed the privilege.

If marriage does matter to you, do you have any set idea about how your wedding day will be?
I haven't had any set ideas yet, besides the fact I don't want a big, white, glamorous wedding.
I used to always dream of having an old Victorian masquerade-themed wedding, however my partner doesn't like the idea so it isn't set in stone!

Finally, what type of style are you looking to model at the show?
I think I would love to try a style of bold colours, such as purple with abstract shapes or patterns for a suave look - almost very similar to a Vivienne Westwood style, in a suit. Thank you so much for this great chance. I'm really looking forward to it!

The One Love Wedding Show runs on the 19th & 20th October. Tickets are available here.
