Cult rock musical BARE will transfer to Greenwich Theatre for a limited run from Wednesday 9 to Saturday 27 October following its sold-out European premiere at the Union Theatre.
A contemporary rock musical, BARE is the electrifying story of a group of students navigating their way through a journey of teenage self-discovery, wrestling with identity, sexuality, and religion at a co-ed catholic boarding school. Provocative, raw and unyielding in its exploration of how today’s generation navigates the tightrope between adolescence and adulthood, BARE examines the consequences of baring a soul, or hiding it from those who matter most. With a pulsating rock score, BARE is a powerful story of youth and rebellion you will never forget.
Since opening at the Hudson Theatre in LA ion 2000, BARE has been staged over 100 times across the globe.
BARE received its European premiere in April 2013 at London’s Union Theatre, and this sold out production will now return to London for a limited run at Greenwich Theatre.
Directed by Paul Taylor-Mills, and with music by Damon Intrabartolo and lyrics by John Hartmere, BARE promises to be the cult hit of the season.
