Be Proud, Get Involved!

Join the HIV Activist Network and get your voice heard...

If you're passionate about rights, equality and tackling stigma, frustrated by cuts in Government spending, worried about support services for people living with HIV being closed down, then get involved in the The National AIDS Trust HIV Activists Network.

NAT will take to London’s streets in the annual march for equality on Saturday 29 June (Pride London) to raise awareness around its HIV Activist Network, a virtual group that campaigns on issues that affected people living with HIV and the communities most at risk of acquiring the virus.

Speaking of the campaign, NAT’s community engagement officer, Susan Cole says, “The network combines people’s voices – the more we have the louder they will be. Some people may shy away from the term ‘activist’, thinking they’ll need to be loud, visible, and knowledgeable on complex subjects. But with the HIV Activists Network, you don’t need to be any of these things. All you need is a desire to bring about change.”

With no rules or restrictions on who can join, making a difference really has never been easier. Let’s get involved!
