Dude looks like a lady
She’s beauty and she’s grace…she’s also a man.

Ladyboys, listen up. This Sunday (14 August) marks the return of the Mango Tree’s annual beauty pageant and willing contestants are needed to put the bass in their walks. Ladyboys are required for the restaurant’s highly competitive Princess of Mango Tree category, and good looking Princes of Mango Tree are also being scouted to make sure the night repeats last year’s success.
The sequin-soaked evening is back for its ninth year, and brings together hopefuls from around the world to compete in a series of three rounds including eveningwear, swimwear and creative costume (cut to us strutting our homemade post-it dress around the office). £500 is on offer to the winning Ladyboy, with cash prizes also being awarded to first and second runners-up.
This year’s theme is ‘Prince and Princess Royal Wedding’ and so Ladyboys are asked for their own take on the traditional white gown with the men having to ‘make it work’ with a traditional dinner jacket. National cabaret glamazon Miss Kimberley will be taking time out from her award-winning Sunday evening show at The Cambria in Camberwell to host the drag-drenched event alongside Queer Eye’s Julian Bennett.
So if you think you’ve got the balls (and you know how to tuck them away) then contact The Mango Tree on 020 7823 1888. Mango Tree is located at 46 Grosvenor Place, London, SW1X 7EQ and tickets are also on sale for the event at this website.
