Cucumber’s Freddie Fox takes on ice bucket challenge

Cucumbers! Bananas! Tofu!

Here’s the latest hottie to get freezing cold in the buff – Freddie Fox, who plays Jeff in the highly-anticipated gay film Pride. Cue a full ten seconds of screaming!

He was nominated by actor sister Emilia Fox, of Silent Witness fame, and The Hunger Games’ Sam Claflin, who will star with Freddie in a big-screen adaptation of Laura Wade’s Posh later this year.

Freddie is set to act in the upcoming Channel 4 series Cucumber, a drama which will look at cross-generational contemporary gay life. It’s the newest project from Russell T. Davies, the creator of Queer as Folk and Bob & Rose.

Davies was one of Freddie’s nominees for the challenge, alongside series producer Matt Strevens and Euros Lyn, who is directing the final two episodes of the first series. Maybe it’s time for a Cucumber ice-bucket threesome?
