Our inner geek gushes over with excitement...

We know. We get it. We've been banging on about superheroes for ages now. Are you tired of it? Bored, even? Well get ready to feel invigorated.
Just a few days before you pay good money to see Chris Evans' ass in that Captain America suit again, the folks at 20th Century Fox have released their trailer for the next upcoming X-Men movie. Sounding like the most complicated science fiction movie ever committed to celluloid, X-Men: Days Of Future Past features two timelines on which our favourite band of merry mutants work to stop their total annihilation by fear mongering American businessmen Bolivar Trask.
While this trailer is considerably lighter on the use of a shirtless Hugh Jackman to get people into cinemas, the adamantium lined beast is certainly still around. As are Sir Ian McKellen, Sir Patrick Stewart, Halle Berry and Ellen Page making their first return to the series for three films. Added to the mix are Evan Peters (who we love in American Horror Story) and Booboo Stewart.
It looks big, it looks bold, it definitely looks complicated and we're sure we'll love it. Have a look below to see it in all of its glory.
X-Men: Days Of Future Past will hit screens on the 22 May. Prepare your mind grapes now>.
