A Merry Christmas Cabaret: Stand Up To Cancer

A host of musical theatre performers from across London's West End join together a in aid of Stand Up To Cancer

Christmas and cabaret: two words that gay men across the world love to hear. They have so much in common – glitter, flashing lights and jolly songs that get stuck in your head all day long. Combining our two loves this festive season is the Prince of Wales theatre with its A Merry Christmas Cabaret on the 12th December.

West End favourites will unite for a night of live performances, singing much-loved festive tunes for your acoustic delight. The cast includes stage stars such as Norman Bowman, Sophie Linder-Lee, Shonagh Daly, Samantha Dorsey, Wendy Ferguson, Giles Terera and Nadim Naaman, as well as singer-songwriter John Galea, Goldstone singers and the West End gospel choir.

As if a night of jingle bells and bowler hats isn’t enough to make you feel good, the proceeds from the event will be going to the Stand Up to Cancer charity, which funds cancer research into rare cancers as well as treatments for the most prevalent cancers, and helps to reach breakthroughs from the laboratory to the patient. Catchy carols, camp cabaret and combating cancer – what more could you ask for this Christmas?

A Merry Christmas Cabaret at the Delfont Room, Prince of Wales theatre, Thu 12th December 2013
