Look spooktacular this Halloween
Still stuck on a fancy dress outfit for Halloween? Check out how the celebs do it...
More from GTea Break
Nobody puts on a show quite like a celebrity, and they tend to pull out all the stops when Halloween comes around. From A list to D list, they know how to throw fantastically creepy Halloween parties that will leave you green
However, not every celebrity uses Halloween as an excuse to have another self-indulgent vanity party - some A-list celebs use the occasion to do something good for charity. Bette Midler hosts her annual Restoration Project Halloween Ball at the iconic Waldorf Astoria in New York - an event where guests are likely to rub shoulders with the likes of Martha Stewart, John McEnroe, Debra Messing, Dita von Teese, acid tongued comic Kathy Griffin and musical icon Barry Manilow.
Ms Midler wins for her good heart and passion for giving green spaces back to New
Yorkers, however the title is hotly contested by the German supermodel and Project Runway host Heidi Klum. Her annual Halloween bash has made her the Queen of celebrity Halloween parties (unofficially of course). Trust us, Klum takes this very seriously and sees the night as a chance to be completely outrageous. From dressing up as an ape with then husband Seal, and ‘wearing’ her skin inside out in an amazing body flesh costume, to dressing as the ultimate Queen of the Nile, Cleopatra, she has pretty much done it all.
However, both Midler and Klum have some surprising competition in the form of Oscar-nominated actress, Kate Hudson. Invitations to her parties are a must-have-item, and guests include everyone from Jennifer Love Hewitt and Alessandra Ambrosio to Nicole Richie and Gwen Stefani.
Now, don’t get us wrong, we know you guys like to have a good Halloween party, but there is, to our minds, only one King of the celebrity Halloween party, and that is the undisputed man of class, Jonathan Ross. As well as the usual rabble at his eagerly anticipated spooky event, you can expect to see a bevy of interesting celebrities, from Chloe Moretz and Alison Mosshart to BAFTA winner Helena Bonham Carter.
Just because you’re a celebrity doesn’t mean you have it all planned ahead of time though! There’s no shame in a last minute dash to Angels Fancy Dress on Shaftesbury Avenue - as Gary Lineker and national icon Stephen Fry can attest! The Angels team managed to pull through for Fry last year, and also for Lineker, who was set to appear at Ross’s now infamous Halloween night party.
