Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary

And no, we’re not talking about the cocktail

Launched last Friday, new webseries The Bloody Mary Show brings horror with comedy to your computer. Or maybe it’s more comedy with a touch of horror.

Lovingly made with great respect for Britain’s history in the horror medium, the show follows the exploits of the Bloody Mary (more than just an urban legend and actually really quite nice) and her motley crew of Beens (as in ‘Have Been Human Once’) as they weave through a tangled web of love, scares, bitchy succubi and jolly Reapers.

Written by gay writer Darren Chadwick Hussein to humanise a rather scary episode of sleep paralysis, The Bloody Mary Show is quirky and fun, with plenty of ghouls and monsters for the supernatural lover out there. Though not a single vampire (sexy or sparkly) in sight, so it makes a great change.

The Bloody Mary Show stars Hollie Taylor, Craig Daniel Adams, Richie Hart and more, and is released every Friday at noon on YouTube.
