Brighton & Hove Pride: let’s look at the line-up

As the countdown to the twentieth anniversary Pride Brighton & Hove gathers pace, the team behind this year’s celebrations are delighted to unveil the line up to GT for a day of unforgettable celebrations, as Preston Park is transformed into one of the largest LGBT park events in Europe.



Calabash Tent Raising the profile of the black and minority ethnic community in Brighton & Hove as well as showcasing the diversity of music.

Legends Cabaret Tent A firm favourite; the cabaret tent features the crème de la crème of the cabaret world.

Club & Bar Revenge VIP Lounge Extremely limited in availability but enjoy swift entry to Preston Park, exclusive access to a Moroccan themed Revenge VIP Lounge and dedicated bar, luxury VIP toilets, a glass of champagne, a themed lunch and VIP access to the dance, cabaret and pop tents. You even get your own hostess for the day!

Girls on Top Pop Tent For the very first time, the Pride event on Preston Park will feature a 3000 capacity high thrills tent hosted by Revenge’s multi award winning club night Girls on Top. The Girls on Top Pop Tent features a whole load of celebrity stars including, Alexandra Burke, The Freemasons and Fatboy Slim from 6pm onwards.

Bears Tent House music and eight of the best male DJs that Brighton’s diverse club scene has to offer (especially for the guys).

Paul Wilde Line Dancing Tent The Cactus Club, now incorporating Lines and Bears, makes a return to Pride to provide an alternative dance tent. Teaching available throughout the day.

Women’s Performance Tent A vibrant line-up of local and nationally-known women artists, including bands, singer/songwriters and comedians.

Fed Centre for Independent Living Access Tent A safe base and chill out for people with disabilities or access needs.

Lunch Positive Community Café Brighton based HIV support group providing a relaxed café for all attendees.

That’s a lot to take in all at once, so visit the Pride Brighton & Hove website to browse at a more leisurely pace.

Finally, let’s not forget the other Prides throughout the UK in September: 1st Brighton and Hove, Cardiff, Grimsby, Leicester, 8th Reading, 23rd Sunderland.
