What we really really want
Our favourite Spice Girls have been spotted rehearsing for the London 2012 Olympics Closing Ceremony; wait for it… On top of black taxicabs.
According to photographs from The Sun, (and within minutes, 60% of our Facebook followers) all five spices were seen practicing a new dance routine at the Olympics ground.
After years of speculation that the band might make a groundbreaking comeback, our dreams have come true. The Spice Girls finally reunite! – And not just for the musical we wrote about in GT409. This is the moment we’ve all been waiting for. (Evidently, we’ve never quite gotten over the heartbreak).
A recent tweet from Victoria Beckham, involved a picture of the microphone (above) she used on the band’s last reunion tour. Together, the Spice Girls had a record of 9 UK number 1 singles and sold 55 million, so here’s a reminder of their success; watch the videos to their top 5 number 1 singles below:
