Is EastEnders legend Dot Cotton (June Brown) embarking on a new career change?

What career - TV Presenter? Model? Fashion Designer?

No.

Dot Cotton is going into music.

Yes, you’ve read that write. Dot Cotton aka June Brown is going to be providing vocals for her godson Tim Arnold’s (The Soho Hobo) new track Soho Heroes. The track being a tribute to the people of Soho who have made their mark over 400 years.

Take a listen to one of The Soho Hobo’s tracks called Manners on the Manor:

Tim Arnold may be familiar to some of you who were into the 90s Britpop scene. Arnold was the lead singer of the band Jocasta, whose hits Go and Change Me were singles of the week for BBC Radio 1 DJ’s Jo Whiley and Mark Radcliffe.

The track Soho Heroes is to be released on Monday and we can’t wait to hear the 85-year-old actress’ vocal abilities, but before then, let’s listen to some of her previous work:



June Brown is currently having six months off from Eastenders and during this time intends to write her autobiography
