W Hotel is glowing with Pride

Doesn’t the sound of stylish cocktails in a swanky West-End bar sound an absolutely divine way to start this year’s Pride celebrations? YES we hear you say. Quiet at the back.

In support of the Elton John AIDS Foundation, one of the foremost independent AIDS charities in the world, W Hotel, situated at the heart of Leicester Square, will be hosting a glamorous evening of cocktail making and tasting at its very own Wyld Bar tomorrow night. Many of you will be aware that the EJAF provides programmes endeavouring to alleviate the physical, emotional and financial hardship of those affected by or at risk of AIDS/ HIV. With 100% of ticket sales donated to this cause, we rate it as a worthy part of the Pride festivities.

If you make it to Taste By Appointment, be prepared for five star treatment and luxury, as you are greeted with a drinks reception and canapés on arrival – waiters should watch their thumbs. Under the guidance of renowned taste expert and Grey Goose ambassador Joe McCanta, as well as the hotel’s head bartender Youri Michel, you’ll experience three hours of one-to-one consultations regarding how to make cutting edge cocktails in order to explore the five key elements of taste; sweet, sour, bitter, salty and savoury.

In honour of the weekend celebrations, the W Hotel is being illuminated from the outside in rainbow colours and more cocktails can be enjoyed at the bar. Your generosity will be appreciated further as £1 off each Le Fizz cocktail will go towards the EJAF programmes.

Tickets £75, 3 July, At Wyld Bar, W Hotel.
