We don’t feel like dancing

(we feel like watching dancing)

The man behind the stupendous dancing in Kylie’s Showgirl tour is bringing his latest show to London next month

Multi award-winning choreographer Rafael Bonachela is creative director of the Sydney Dance Company who are in London for the first time in 25 years. The three performances at the Southbank Centre feature a double-billed show. 6 Breaths and LANDforms.

To recap, this is a man who’s worked with KYLIE bringing a load of hot Australian dancers (and they will be hot, it’s the Kwanten Rule) for an ultra-exclusive performance where you’ll get to see TWO shows.

6 breaths is, unsurprisingly, about breathing, while LANDforms, which opened to acclaim in Sydney in March, takes its inspiration from landscapes and the elements that shape them. See, it’s EASY!

Bonachela was described by grande dame of dance Arlene Philips as the ‘rock god of dance’ when they met on So You Think You Can Dance, and his choreography was voted the judges’ favourite of the first series. Let’s be honest, the man must have talent if he was able to get Craig Revel-Horwood to say anything civil.

It promises to be a magnificent experience, dance at its zenith.

We think you should go and see this, and we know best. Tickets here.
