Important Sports Charter against Homophobia event taking place 21st November.

Taking place on 21st November at the Oval Cricket Ground London in an exciting day exploring LGBT inclusion in sport to help you celebrate LGBT History Month in February 2012.

With the Equalities Act now in force and with the public duties expecting organisations to be both inclusive and promote good relationships between the protected characteristic this is a great opportunity to gain ideas and good practice.

We have much to be proud of since last year with gay sports stars coming out, the government launching their charter against homophobia and transphobia and Sheffield Eagles playing a game in Homophobia tackle it shirts. Pride Sports are once again our partner linking us to their immense experience.

February 2011 saw over a 1000 events around the country. So don't miss out join us on this inspiring day.

Evening Pre Launch Event Celebrating sports and LGBT people with Chris Morgan, and Nigel Owens, updates form Rugby, Tennis and Cricket on what they have been doing to include LGBT people throughout the year, Pride Sports, The London Gay Men’s chorus and news on up and coming international Gay Games, and all things LGBT for the London Olympics 2012! 6.45-10

The organisers are not charging for these events however they will be selling badges and key rings and will need donations to cover the costs - so be there and be generous!
