Kate Bush is number one

Well, probably.

Kate Bush looks set to finally knock Adele off the top spot in the album charts this weekend.

Director’s Cut – released this week – is a re-working of some of the songs from The Sensual World and The Red Shoes. It's currently sitting at number one in the midweeks and if this happens it’d be Kate’s first number one album since 1986’s The Whole Story. Not that we’re trying to force you to buy it because she’s a legend or anything.

While we’re on the subject, there needs to be a definitive Kate Bush singles and DVD collection please.

Let’s have a look at some of this woman’s work (see what we did there)

Hounds of Love:

One of the best songs EVER, Running Up That Hill

And the heartbreaking This Woman’s Work.

And there’s a rather bloody brilliant feature on Kate Bush in the new issue of GT, which is out today.
