The best (comedy) show you'll see on telly at Christmas... Catherine Tate's Little Crackers on Sky1.

Yes, OK it was shown earlier this week but they're repeating it on Christmas Eve.

Why is it good? Because it's written and directed by Catherine Tate about a Christmas nativity play in her childhood where she rocks it as Gary Glitter.

And also because Anita Dobson's in it.

It's also part of a double bill where Dawn French plays the Queen Mum, should Dawn French take your fancy. Obviously there are quite a few Little Crackers but we only watched the ones written and produced by women. Victoria Wood must have missed the memo about the series being a comedy.
