Here she is boys, here she is world…
Drag Diary #16
It’s almost not worth blogging about last weekend’s Brighton Pride festival, as surely everygay who’s anygay was there alongside us, drinking in the park, marching through the street, swimming in the sea, well paddling, but you get the idea. It was all very proud.
Best of all, Preston Park’s cabaret tent played host to a veritable feast of drag divas, including of course GT’s personal fave, Miss Rose Garden. And as if her Gypsy inspired introduction wasn’t enough, she made her entrance wearing wings. WINGS.
As a quick aside, and speaking of Rose Garden, we were flippin’ thrilled to be told that her unofficial drag daughter won last month’s Snow Idol competition. Good on ya, Tanya love. See you on Sky One.
But anyway, back to Brighton. In case you couldn’t make it, here’s a ropey bit of footage from the parade. Oh yes indeed, we are what we are.

It’s a drag queen ballet. Need we say more?
(No, but we probably will next Tuesday depending on whether or not we can find anything else to write about.)
