Drag Diary #10

So, Drag Idol 2010 has come to an end. We know, we know, sad times. Our Friday nights just won’t be the same.

Still, huge congrats to the uber talented Baga Chipz for winning this year’s title with an impersonation of Amy Winehouse that was quite frankly more accurate than the real deal. In fact the only difference we can spot between the two of them is that Baga looks more feminine.

Unfortch we couldn’t find a clip of the winning performance, so we’ve settled instead for a bit of backstage gossip courtesy of Homovision, taken behind the scenes at the launch party a couple of months ago.

We were there, sure, but we’ve scrutinised the video in minute detail from beginning to end (more than once) and sadly not one of us appears in shot. Still, there’s a nice bit of banter as everyone drags up and you might even learn a thing or two about lace-front wigs.
