Fast Ood Rocker
Just another average night for some of Team GT. One of us was dancing in the Black Cap to Lady GaGa, another was interviewing a star in their pants and yours truly was being served food by an Ood.

Yes, non-Doctor Who fans might want to look away now as GT went to the screening of the Christmas episode, The End of Time, last night. And what a night it was.
We’re not going to spoil it for you, but you know it’s David Tennant’s final story, right? Well John Simm’s only gone and stolen the bloody show as The Master. In a word, he’s brilliant. And if we’re being slightly letchy – and let’s face it, when are we not – he’s bloody fit with bleach blond hair. And he gets his kit off.
What’s it about? Well it’s Christmas Eve, The Master returns and, well, it’s the end of time itself innit? Part one airs on BBC One on Christmas Day at 6pm, the second installment follows a week later on New Years Day.
There’s an interview with the man (can we say genius? All the people giving speeches last night did) who wrote it, Russell T Davies, in the new issue of GT which is out NOW. But if we tell you any more about the actual episode he’d ‘ave us.
What else happened? Well, studio eight was invaded by Cybermen but a Judoon blew them up – after it had been smacked on the head by an enthusiastic Bernard Cribbins. Biggest laugh of the night was a child excitedly posing a question for ‘John Slimm’.
The TARDIS was parked in front of the mulled wine, green screen photoshoots were taking place and a Dalek kept watch from afar.
And as for that Ood walking around serving mince pies – yes, we actually looked it in the eye and thanked it.
But, as we’re always thinking of you, faithful reader, we’ve got a special Christmas Doctor Who poster from the launch to give away. Just email email@example.com telling us why you want it. Can’t say fairer than that.
Now, if you’ll excuse us, we have an Ood-induced hangover to be getting along with, thank you.
