I Left My Heart In Hackney Road
Saw Mini Viva last night, top stuff.
We would give you a detailed description of the outfits, the dancemoves, the sound, but you'll find them all encapsulated in this crappily sound-recorded, slightly wobbly youtube clip (wot we made ourselfs)
It's something of an achievement that we made it to the gig, given the amount of "networking" (binge drinking) we'd done in Soho before the show. We bumped into Stine Bramsen from Alphabeat and treated her to an impromptu rendition of the GT version of the above Mini Viva track; "I left my heart in hackney road, down by the joiners, oh-oh oh".
Funnily enough, it drove her to the bar.
