It *is* still on! Kings Cross Steelers are to host. Phew.
We were a bit worried. Nothing on the website for a while, they didn't return our calls... then we got a lovely email today, with the above picture. It's on. You now have 9 Days, 21 Hours, 54 Minutes and 3 Seconds to prepare yourselves for the event, at the time of writing, according to the very precise union cup website.
Kings Cross Steelers RFC are London's only gay rugby club and the hosts for the third Union Cup on 22-23 May 2009. The tournament is for European gay rugby teams, which will be held at the Steelers’ clubhouse in West Ham, Newham. The Steelers website is here. Sorry, we meant here.
