Londoners Talk London
New series at Museum of London gets personal with Peter Tatchell
Love it or loathe it, London is one of the great travel destinations; full of history, pregnant with memories. There are as many stories as there are Londoners and ‘Londoner’ should now be taken to mean anyone who calls the city home. The Museum of London is launching a new series of informal talks with inspiring Londoners in the company of BBC radio journalist Robert Elms, and his first subject is gay rights activist and Green MP Peter Tatchell. Never short of words, Peter will be sharing his defining memories of the city he has made his home on February 25th at 7pm. Admission is free but tickets must be booked in advance by calling 020 7001 9844. And if you want to email Peter a question before the event then do so via the Museum’s website, www.museumoflondon.org.uk. He will select the best to answer on the night.
