The Hidden Cameras are in town
lock up your sons
If you were in The Joiners Arms last night, you would’ve seen the 'gay church folk music' collective The Hidden Cameras arrive in the UK and promptly get themselves to a gay bar (gay bar).
If there were such thing as an indie paparazzi they would've been in their element as friends-of-the-band Patrick Wolf and Jens Lekman were there, and at one point there was a big dry humping orgy on the floor. I won’t name names, but I can tell you that on such occasions, an alter ego ‘Betty’ emerges and takes all the credit. Go Betty.
The band are playing in London on Saturday at St.Leonard's Church in Shoreditch as a benefit for Galop, the city's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community safety charity. They’re in Brighton tomorrow at Westhill Community Hall and Sunday sees them oop north as part of the Anti-Pride celebrations promoting queer diversity, playing Club Brenda at The Ruby Lounge.
