Kath and Kim is the kind of show that you will either love obsessively or think is just a bit rubbish. I personally think it is genius and it's the only TV show I've ever bought the DVD for to watch again and again. It's subtlety, layers on layers of visual puns and gags, running injokes and social akwardness are both beautifully clever and unspeakably stupid.
Unfortunately the Americans have had a stab at remaking it. I wouldn't want to cast judgement on a show that I haven't seen, but presumably they've taken some of the better moments to put in the following trailer.
