Footballers go naked!

Whilst we are pathetically shivering in our offices covered in a million layers of clothing (how cold is it?), The Dagenham & Redbridge Football Club (or The Daggers to you), have bravely bared all in a new new calender to raise awareness of testicular cancer.

Let’s hope there was someone on hand during the shoot to keep them warm. (For the record, if there’s a next time, we would happily volunteer – purely altruistically, for the sake of charity, of course.)

The A3 size, full colour calendar will cover 21 months from April 2008 (to co-inside with testicular cancer awareness week, 1st – 7th April) right through to December 2009, with general information on testicular cancer and how to check yourself – or your partner – properly (you at the back, stop giggling).

The calendar is £7.50 and available at selected venues or by ordering through the post (in which case a postage and packing charge of £1.50 per calendar will apply).
