New Music Monday, feat Charli XCX, Alex Clare and Duck Sauce

Another Monday means another five songs we can't get enough of...

Duck Sauce – NRG

This catchy new song is sure to be a hit. It’s already been labelled ‘the hottest record in the world’ by DJ Zane Lowe, and it’s certainly got us dancing. Look out for Duck Sauce’s debut album Quack, released next weekend.

Mozart’s Sister – Enjoy

This interesting indie number takes inspiration from the likes of Daft Punk and Bjork. Written, recorded, and produced by singer Caila Thompson-Hannant, its sparse, mesmerising sound has certainly caught our attention.

Charli XCX – Boom Clap

Here’s a great song for the summer. It’s from the soundtrack of romantic tear jerker The Fault In Our Stars but this is a real feel good song from the young artist.

Alex Clare – War Rages On

A great single with a really solid sound, this is a single from the second album by BRIT nominated Alex Clare. The theme of the song is: “knowing someone is there for you, no matter how hard it gets”. Very touching.

Sara Bareilles – Chasing The Sun

Bareilles’ music always has a gorgeous, uplifting sound, and this song is no different. We’ll be singing along to this one on repeat for the next week.
