Robin Windsor has revealed Dragons Den entrepreneur Deborah Meaden was behind his decision to date again. In an exclusive interview with GT, the gay dancer talks of finding love with X Factor's Marcus Collins, following a difficult break-up from his fiance.
"After my last relationship ended, I was on the rebound and on the warpath thinking, 'I must find a boyfriend'. Deborah Meaden told me to get myself together, concentrate on work, forget about men and enjoy life. As soon as I did that, Marcus came along."
They also mooted becoming Strictly's first ever same-sex dance partners. "I can dance, but I'd be learning ballroom dancing from scratch. It's something I'd certainly give a go," Marcus Collins said. "It's about waiting for the right time for the public to be ready to see a same-sex couple dancing together."
But Robin admitted he wouldn't like to see his new love with someone else. "I wouldn't want to see him dance with another man," adding, "The first time you'll see us dance together is at our wedding."
