New Music Monday feat Charli XCX, Clean Bandit and Neon Jungle

We’ll be singing our hearts out to this week’s top five belters

Charli XCX – Boom Clap

The girl behind two of the past year’s biggest tunes (in association with Icona Pop and Iggy Azalea of course) has released her latest single, Boom Clap, which features on the soundtrack of The Fault In Our Stars. It’s not as immediately catchy as her previous works, but it gets there. Trust us.

Clean Bandit – Heart on Fire

With their smash hit Rather Be maintaining the top spot of the charts for four weeks, the only way was up for Clean Bandit. We were big fans of their follow up single Extraordinary, and now we’re addicted to Heart on Fire, taken from their album New Eyes, which is out now by the way…

Neon Jungle – Louder

After a string of club-ready songs, Neon Jungle have treated us to their fourth single, Louder, marking a distinct change in pace for the girls. A step away from the pounding bass and thumping beats of their previous work, this new track still packs a mighty punch.

Celine Dion feat. Ne-Yo – Incredible

We’re not even sure whether we actually like this song… But it’s Celine and Ne-Yo, what’s not to like about that combination? The lady sure can belt out some pretty amazing notes, if nothing else; you’ll at least take that away from your listening experience.

Little Mix – Salute

It may have been in circulation for a while now, but we’re still loving Little Mix’s transition from girls to women. With this powerful RNB track, the X Factor winners make a firm move from idols of the tween market, to a more assertive, adult marketed girl group. Bravo girls, we salute you.
