Can you help find a long lost friend?

Old friend looks for RVT drag queen

During the late 1960s there used be a famous drag act in London’s Royal Vauxhall Tavern called Pussy and Bow.
Alan Amsby, who is now living in Dublin, was the Pussy part of the act and is a popular drag queen based in Ireland called Mr Pussy.

He is trying to get in touch with ‘Bow’, whose real name was either Geoffrey (or perhaps Jeffrey) Claridge. Mr Claridge was born circa 1946, which would make him around 68 today (if he’s still alive).

He also featured in the 1970 film ‘Goodbye Gemini’, which had his starring as a drag queen on the stage of the Vauxhall tavern (picture enclosed of him from it).

Alan Amsby, who is also a personal friend of Paul O’Grady, has tried to track Mr Claridge down for a reunion but to no avail (he last saw him in the early 1970s).If anyone knows of his whereabouts or information on whatever happened him could they please email eugene.masterson@sundayworld.com

Go on, have a think.
