Music Monday: Clean Bandit, MØ and Paloma Faith
Five tracks that we're listening to this week...

Shift K3Y – Touch
Bust out the Kappa tracksuits, we’re feeling an early 00s vibe with this one. Good now, but in ten years it’ll sound as good as 3 Of A Kind’s song Babycakes does now. Remember it? We didn’t think so.
Paloma Faith – Only Love Can Hurt Like This
We thought this was a pretty good song, Paloma was sounding pretty soulful, we figured it’d make a decent soundtrack to a Bridget Jones film. Skip to two minutes in and we were blown away. Gurl knows how to sing.
Brandon Beal – Twerk it like Miley ft Christopher
There are so many things wrong with the video: claw-like fake nails, girls playing with scissors, thongs over tights, and so much wasted cake. That being said, we love an excuse to twerk, and this song does the job well. Christopher showing his beautiful face and luscious blond curls makes for a bonus treat.
MØ – Say You’ll Be There
MØ, not to be confused with M.O who featured in our May issue, wowed us with their cover of the Spice Girls’ hit Say You’ll Be There. With a sound reminiscent of Lorde’s Royals, their take on the pop track breathes new life into the song.
Clean Bandit – Extraordinary ft Sharna Bass
Lots of artists are attempting to jump on the 90s/00s bandwagon, but few have nailed it in the way Clean Bandit have. Airy piano chords and a killer bass line, open the Pimms and light the barbeque, summer is coming and we’ve found this year’s summer anthem.
