Glastonbury announces 86 new acts for 2014 line-up
Makes sense now why tickets sold out in less than an hour and a half, eh?
More from GT Music
Glastonbury announced its epic 2014 line-up through its official Twitter account today - headlined by Kasabian, Arcade Fire and a still-to-be-announced special guest.
Gay icon and country legend Dolly Parton is also on the bill, alongside GT favourite Debbie Harry's band Blondie, plus the likes of Lana Del Rey, Kelis, Lily Allen, John Newman, The 1975, Jack White, Sam Smith, Angel Haze, James Blake... and LOADS more.
The new line-up announcements make it obvious as to why tickets sold out in just one hour and 27 minutes. It’s the festival that holds some of the most iconic, respected and talented performers in music history, as well as a pool of best emerging talent from all over the globe.
Glastonbury runs this year from 27 until 29 June. Ticket are sold out but here’s the exciting bit… those lucky enough to already have their hands on them still have the opportunity to cancel and lose their deposit without paying the remaining balance.
And it means more tickets will go on sale from 24 April – so if you’re yet to get yourself a pass to undoubtedly the biggest party of the summer, make sure your keyboard warrior skills are at the ready later this month.
