Kate Bush announces first live dates in 35 years
Yes, really... this is not a drill...
More from GT Music
Kate Bush is back. For the first time in 35 years, one of the most iconic British singers to ever grace a stage will play a series of live dates in August and September.
Having gained international fame with her song Wuthering Heights back in 1978, her success grew and grew throughout the decades, despite not having played a gig since 1979.
Making the announcement on her website this morning, Kate Bush said she was "delighted" to make a return to performing , adding: "I hope you will be able to join us and I look forward to seeing you there."
The 15-night stint is being dubbed Before the Dawn, and takes place at London's Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith, beginning on 26 August. The phrase "once in a lifetime" is used far too liberally these days... but we think on this occasion, it couldn't be more apt. We'll hopefully see you there.
Ticket prices range between £49-£135, and will be available from 9.30am on Friday 28 March via eventim.co.uk, gigsandtours.com and ticketmaster.co.uk.
