Climate
Kentucky has a temperate climate. Annual rainfall is 1220mm including an average snowfall of 348mm. The wettest seasons are spring and summer, and the driest is the autumn. Spring and autumn usually require light wraps, especially during the evenings. Summer can be very warm but cool evenings are not unusual. The best time to visit is late summer and early autumn.
