Description
The Bristol Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual Forum is a Registered Charity, established in October 1994 to challenge the discrimination that lesbian, gay and bisexual people experience. We act as consultees on LGB issues for local authorities, statutory as well as voluntary agencies and organisations.
Membership of the Forum is free and open to any lesbian, gay and bisexual people living, working or studying in greater Bristol. The Charity is run by a Management Committee, made up of volunteer Trustees and has two part-time members of staff: the Development Worker and the Administrator. We strive to represent ALL sectors of our community and challenge other discrimination within it on grounds of age, ability, ethnicity, nationality, status, faith, class, gender gender identity.
