Description
NewcastleGateshead Art Fair is back, this time at The Sage Gateshead. It is a unique chance to buy artworks by hundreds of leading contemporary artists from the UK and overseas. The biggest event of its kind in North East England, the Fair takes place over four days - launching with a VIP evening on September 11, followed by three days for public viewings. There will be demonstrations and seminars available throughout the Fair.
The opening times are:
Thursday, September 11: VIP evening, 6pm-9pm
Friday, September 12: 11am-6pm
Saturday, September 13: 11am-5pm
Sunday, September 14: 11am-5pm
Tickets are £6 on the door or £5 in advance
NewcastleGateshead Art Fair also offers support and advice on collecting and buying art. The Arts Council’s ‘Own Art’ scheme provides interest free credit and is available through many of the exhibiting galleries.
