The British Association of American Square Dance Clubs (a voluntary organisation) offers training for dancers in most areas of England and its associated Callers' Club offers training for callers to experienced square dancers.
If you would like to learn square- or round dancing, please contact your nearest club via our website. Most beginners' course start in September.
If you are organising a festival your local SDC can help you with a dance display or workshop.
If there is no club in your area and you would like to start one please use the contact details below for advice. Funding may be available through the Petersen Fund or the Arts Council.

Our Association teaches square- and round-dancing international syllabi set out by the international callers' professional association, Callerlab (www.callerlab.org). Once you have learnt the basics (Mainstream) you can dance anywhere in the world at that level. Background information is available from www.iagsdc.org.
