Réunion is an island in the Indian Ocean east of Madagascar. It is an overseas department of France and therefore French law applies. The population is very small and we are not aware of the existance of any gay scene as such.. Réunion has spectacular natural and scenic beauty so perhaps you come for this rather than the gay life.

Réunion has a tropical maritime climate with May to November dry and cool, and November to April hot and wet. The island is also subject to occasional cyclones. The best time to visit is during the dry season.
