Scene and Culture
Until recently gay life in Guam was very closeted. In recent years a growing American style gay scene has developed and there now three gay bars (Denial Bar, Jax Lounge and Midnight Special) . Guam is a small place so islanders hide their sexuality. Though the Catholic church is revered behind closed doors sexual morals are quite liberal. There is a large US airforce base on the island which also helps to spice up gay life on the island.

Climate
The best time to visit Guam is during the cooler and drier months of December to February (marked by prevailing westerly tradewinds) though you can visit all year round.
Guam's climate is hot with an average annual temperature of 28c. Generally, the temperature range is from 20c to 30c. The warmest months are from March to August. The annual rainfall totals 200mm to 275mm with a dry season (December to June) and a rainy seasons (May to November).
